Although the pouring shield took some time to adjust using, it’s a great tool to add ingredients without having to tilt the head. (Be sure to place on the correct side of the bowl as instructed or the ingredients will not mix properly).Tonyiallardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17250888975869444879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4910204580192279369.post-3639434002738245372019-10-17T09:59:01.037-04:002019-10-17T09:59:01.037-04:00Hello There. The one I tried (for 100% whole wheat bread) needed to rise twice, for like an hour each time (once for a "sponge" before adding the flour) before being put in the pans (then an additional hour), and ended up taking a LOT longer than yours. 'Course that could just be the hazards of whole wheat, I don't know. But to compensate, the bread was WAY yummier than anything my stupid dead machine (which is 9.5 years old) has made in a long time, plus I had a great feeling of satisfaction (and plenty of flour on my front, no worries about looking industrious here!)Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12428219856526234135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4910204580192279369.post-75107006825136911112010-01-03T09:45:17.282-05:002010-01-03T09:45:17.282-05:00C'mon "Harriet", that's a GREAT ...C'mon "Harriet", that's a GREAT drawing of a mixer! Now I feel obligated to think about using it, but I expect the feeling will pass pretty quickly. I love your "weigh, weigh too much" observation. When we got our cow last year, I was making lots of cheese with the extra milk and instantly put on 7 pounds which are with me today. Then we got a couple of pigs to feed the milk to.
